One of the truly great Australian teams and featuring a host of names which will be long remembered, including Warne, Ponting, McGrath, Haydon, Watson, Langer, Martyn, Lee and McGrath. After their 1989 Ashes victory, the Aussies ended a series of droughts by defeating West Indies, Pakistan and South Africa on the home soil of their opponents.

The one remaining sacred cow were the Indians. We had never beaten them at home since way back in 1969 when Bill Lawry was skipper.

In 2004, the Australians won another series on Indian soil, winning the First Test at Bangalore by 217 runs after first innings centuries to Clarke and Gilchrist, then drawing the Second Test at Chennai which features a century to Martyn and a 6-for from Warnie.

The Aussies won the Third Test in Nagpur by a huge 342 runs with Martyn scoring a century and a 90, with 90s also to Martyn in the second innings as well as Katich, with Gillespie taking a 5-for. India won the memorable Fourth Test in Mumbai by just 13 runs on a pitch memorable for its deplorable quality, Clarke taking the long-remembered 6 for 9 in the final exciting innings.

Measures an impressive 112cm x 74cm and comes superbly framed.
